Stand up for a clean environment the Detroit March for Justice. This historic event seeks to address injustice across the board, by representing a variety of intertwining issues including environmental justice, black lives matter, digital justice, economic justice, housing justice, clean water, clean air, climate DetroitMarchSTD.jpgjustice, health justice, and worker justice.

Today, people are losing ground in a globalized Wall Street economy where justice takes a back seat to profits.

The Line 5 pipeline running through the Straits of Mackinac fits perfectly into the theme of this march. Line 5 threatens the clean water that belongs to the people of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Canada. Participate in this march to show that you care about creating a livable planet for all its people.

Oil & Water Don't Mix campaign members Sierra Club of Michigan, Food & Water Watch, Ecology Center, Michigan Environmental Council are a few of the organizers of the march.

The march will start at Detroit's Roosevelt Park and ends with a rally at Hart Plaza.
