Michigan Native American tribal members and supporters of the Oil & Water Don't Mix campaign are spearheading Pipe Out Paddle Protest around Labor Day weekend in Chicago.

The Surfrider Foundation Chicago Chapter is inviting paddlers of all descriptions (surfers/SUPers/kayakers/canoeists/swimmers), and even non-paddlers, to join the Pipe Out Paddle Protest - Chicago to raise awareness and foster activism in support of protecting our Great Lakes waters and shutting down Enbridge Line 5.

The event is free. Surfrider Chicago will try to provide some SUP boards for those who might not have their own or one to borrow. All are invited to stay around afterwards and have a beverage at The Dock @ Montrose Beach afterwards.
