Aging oil pipelines in the Mackinac Straits threaten the pristine waters of the Great Lakes. Governor Snyder and Attorney General Schuette will be asking all of us what to do about Enbridge’s dangerous Line 5.

Starting this July, Michigan citizens will finally be able to officially send a message to Governor Snyder and Attorney General Schuette to take action and begin decommissioning Line 5 in the Straits of Mackinac. Stopping the flow of oil through the Straits is the only way we can truly protect the Great Lakes from a catastrophic oil spill.
Enbridge’s Line 5 has already spilled 29 times and has released more than 1 million gallons of oil & gas products into the environment! Let’s make sure #30 isn’t in the Straits of Mackinac and the “worst possible place for an oil spill.”
