The Detroit Regional Chamber’s Mackinac Policy Conference starts Tuesday on Mackinac Island. Oil & Water Don’t Mix will be greeting folks as they arrive to take the Shepler’s Ferry to the island. Our special guest will be a giant 10-foot Bill Schuette puppet.
Our message is that it’s been 697 days since Attorney General Schuette declared that Line 5’s “days are numbered” and we will challenge him and Gov. Snyder to come to Petoskey for the June 12 Pipeline Safety Advisory Board meeting and hear from northern Michigan residents about why they need to stop the flow of oil through the Straits.
