Defenders of the Great Lakes will gather at the beautiful Nicholas J. Melas Centennial Fountain informing Chicagoans that a 64-year-old pipeline sits rusting and waiting to break.

We will be dropping beautiful banners around the water cannon fountain and passing out flyers to passersby.

This is an Enbridge Pipeline, the same company responsible for the recent Kalamazoo oil spill. Our demand is that this pipeline must be shut down!

This is a family friendly gathering with speakers from the American Indian Center, Food and Water Watch, Democratic Socialists of America, music, and fun.

This is a Food & Water Watch event. Event cosigners include American Indian Center of Chicago, Food & Water Watch, Democratic Socialists of America, Chicago 350
