Join Patagonia Chicago and Founders Brewing Company for a Shut Down Line 5 Happy Hour! Enjoy an ice cold beer on us and take action to defend our Great Lakes, freshwater, and communities from the aging 64-year-old oil pipeline running beneath the Great Lakes.
We’ll be talking about our love for the Lakes, sharing the incredible work our nonprofit partners, FLOW, are doing to protect our waters and signing petitions to prevent the ongoing threat to our region. We’ll also have gear raffles and Great Lakes Proud stickers for donations to the campaign!
Thousands of individuals, groups, communities, and businesses have called for shutting down the 64-year-old Enbridge “Line 5” pipelines and re-routing the oil through existing pipes on land. Oil pipelines do not belong in our Great Lakes, threatening our water, our economy, and our way of life. Take Action by the December 22 deadline by signing the petition.
