Enbridge wants its dangerous Line 5 oil pipelines to be a survivor even if it means putting our Great Lakes at risk. The Canadian company is fighting hard to keep oil flowing through the Straits of Mackinac while Michigan keeps taking all the risks of Line 5 with few benefits.

Vote Enbridge Off the Island

The Oil & Water Don't Mix coalition is asking the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce to end Enbridge's sponsorship of the May 29-June 1 Mackinac Policy Conference. This is the biggest island event of the year attended by the state's top political and business movers and shakers. It will host the first gubernatorial debate of 2018.

This sponsorship is a public relations coup for a giant Canadian company that has paid millions of dollars in fines, polluted Michigan's waters and meddled in Michigan's elections while continuing to operate dangerous, deteriorating Line 5 oil pipelines within eyesight of the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.

We'd like to let the Chamber know what kind of support Enbridge has, and send a clear message that Enbridge can’t outlast, outplay and outwit Michigan’s people.

Please answer our one question:

Should Enbridge be allowed to sponsor the 2018 Mackinac Policy Conference on Mackinac Island?
