2024 Michigan Climate Summit

We must shut down pipelines and transition to cleaner energy sources to achieve a livable planet. OWDM Steering Committee member Michigan Climate Action Network is hosting a fantastic summit featuring the work to do just that, and the public is invited!

This year's theme is Climate Civics—how do we protect democracy and transition our economy to become more sustainable? Two outstanding keynote speakers are worth the price of admission! Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson and author/educator/environmentalist Bill McKibben will engage, inspire, and motivate us to work harder than ever for a livable planet. They are sure to fill the 1,100-seat Rackham Auditorium, and you should be there.

Attend dozens of panels, including a featured panel co-hosted by OWDM on the work to shut down Line 5.

The University of Michigan and the UM School of Environment and Sustainability are the co-hosts and venue for this fantastic event. Tickets are selling fast - get yours before it's too late!

RSVP below to let us know you'd like to attend. You'll then be redirected to the MiCAN website to purchase tickets ($15 to $35).
