We are approaching a turning point in the Michigan Public Service Commission’s contested case over the Line 5 tunnel. It is going to take sustained action and public input for us to win here.
For the last year, MPSC commissioners have been hearing testimony, cross-examinations, and briefs arguing for and against its approval of the Line 5 tunnel. This case will be fully briefed by mid-March, so the commissioners could rule any time after that.
Our last opportunity to impact the MPSC decision will be through strong and sustained public comment opposing the tunnel. This meeting is the first and most important time to attend and give public comment.
Please RSVP below to express your interest in attending the meeting virtually and giving a comment. We may hold a prep session before the meeting to help you refine your comment and will let you know about that if you RSVP below.
