Participate in the Day of Action for the Great Lakes to call for action to shut down Line 5. Building a tunnel for Line 5 is not a solution to protect the Great Lakes or the climate. https://www.oilandwaterdontmix.org/day_of_action_for_the_great_lakes?recruiter_id=7077

Enbridge is threatening the future of our entire state. When a leak occurs, and it will, it will be a catastrophe and will not only seriously damage the Great Lakes environmentally but Michigan's economic future as well.

We live onLake Huron adjacent to two miles of shoreline called the Grass Bay Nature Conservancy with the Cheboygan State Park.5 to the west. It’s pristine waterfront that needs to remain safe from the eventual totally devastating Enbridge oil spill

It is potentially very dangerous and our Governor is caving to the pressure from Enbridge, a company with a horrible track record. It is a disaster waiting to happen.

Oil is no longer necessary and has been obsolete for years. Private companies use water, nickel and hydrogen catalyst from private manufacturer ECAT who leases power to them for 20% less than the local power company. Houshold units are approved for international sale and certified but corrupt government entities threaten the lives of anyone who may hinder their polluting profits.

Line 5 has outlived its planned useful life, and we've been lucky until now that we've averted a disaster. I can see no reason whatever to take any more risks with this pipeline.

And, I don't for a minute believe any of the propaganda put out by Enbridge or their advocates, and don't think that anyone sould.

I have testified, I have marched, I have called, I have written letters, I have attended PSAB meetings. I will take action in January. Our Lakes are too important to risk, for our state and for the world.

Enbridge has proven itself to have faulty lines which have broken when we were told they were fine. Their response time has proven to be extremely lax and cleanup efforts questionable.
Even under the best circumstances, LINE 5 is not possible to cleanup!

An oil spill will ruin our tourism industry, commercial fishing and beauty of the Eastern Upper Peninsula . That is just one of many reasons to shut down Line 5.
