In this letter Enbridge attempts to defend Line 5 to the pipeline task force. The letter lays out the history of Line 5 and the precautions Enbridge has taken to prevent it from rupturing. It also presents Enbridge's perspective on the pipeline's economic effect on Michigan. However, it fails to provide very much detailed information about Line 5's specific benefits to the region.
