Executive Director of FLOW, Liz Kirkwood, talked to 9&10 News about the Line 5 pipeline.
They discussed the economic disaster that would befall the communities the Straits. Not only would a pipeline rupture be a huge tragedy for environmentalists, fishermen and people dependent on tourism for their livelihoods would also suffer a huge blow. A pipeline spill could completely wipe out these industries.
