Discover the truth about Line 5: Join National Wildlife Federation for an eye-opening look at this hidden threat beneath the Great Lakes.
Each day, up to 540,000 barrels of crude oil and natural gas liquids flow beneath the Straits of Mackinac. Join NWF as they screen the new documentary film, Oil and Water, and host a brief Q&A with pipeline experts and the film’s director, Spencer Chumbley.
Presenters on this date will also include OWDM members Jim Lively, program director of Groundwork Center for Resilient Communities; and Liz Kirkwood, Executive Director of FLOW for Water.
The event will occur on three consecutive dates in November, in Charlevoix, Kalamazoo, and Ann Arbor.
