You're invited to a free festival celebrating our connection to water at the annual Water is Life Festival! This family-friendly event brings together food, music, art, film, speakers, canoe rides, and more. Oil & Water Don't Mix is proud to sponsor this event.

Friday, August 29, 2025 • 6 - 9 p.m.
Friday Night Feast/Potluck Gratitude Dinner. Potluck, please bring a dish to pass. At the Festival Shelter near Bear River.
Saturday, August 30, 2025, 12 - 9 p.m.
Live bands, Youth area art and engagement, Northsky Raptors live birds of prey on site for education and teachings, The Water Connection features artesian water from all over Michigan, and kayak rentals provided by Bahnof Sports. Jiimaan (canoe rides) with our friend Fred Harrington, great vendors, and two fabulous local food trucks! Over 20 awesome door prizes to be given away throughout the day! Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the day on the shores of the Little Traverse Bay.
