Join us on a bus from Traverse City to St. Ignace to attend the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) meeting in St. Ignace. The USACE is asking for public comment as they scope the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) of the proposed Enbridge Line 5 Tunnel project. If Enbridge doesn't get this permit, it can't build the tunnel.
A strong public turnout is important. You can be sure that Enbridge will send their oil industry flunkies to ask that this permit be approved, so we need to counter that input with the truth that this is a dangerous and misguided project.
We'll depart from and return to Meijer in Williamsburg (a.k.a Acme). There are only 34 seats available, so please act quickly. If you purchase more than one ticket, please reply to the receipt email with your guests' names. Wearing masks on the bus is strongly encouraged.

As a bonus, bus passengers will receive a free NO LINE 5 OIL TUNNEL tee shirt to wear to the meeting. Let's show the press, who is sure to turn out, that the public clearly does not want this tunnel to be constructed!
