This is a special volunteer opportunity. Come to Mackinac Island to pass out materials to people arriving for the Detroit Chamber Mackinac Policy Conference.
We will demonstrate to legislators, business leaders, and media traveling to the Detroit Chamber Mackinac Policy Conference and make them aware of the overwhelming citizen support for decommissioning Line 5. We'll hold signs and banners and pass out suckers with messages attached to conference attendees as they arrive on Mackinac Island, just a few miles east of the submerged Line 5 pipelines.

BIG NOTE: You'll be responsible for purchasing your own ferry ticket ($24 online, or $26 at the dock) to be on the Island to hand out materials. The shifts below include travel time to and back from the Island to Mackinaw City on Shepler's Ferry.
