Celebrate National Public Lands Day

Join the Sierra Club Michigan Chapter to celebrate National Public Lands Day on the stunning shores of Lake Huron.

Come to explore one of the most beautiful stretches of the Great Lakes shoreline. Enjoy the community of the Sierra Club Michigan Chapter, and protect our Great Lakes and public lands by taking action to stop the dangerous Line 5 oil pipeline.

At the event, you can tackle the climate crisis by submitting comments to the US Army Corps of Engineers to move one step closer to enforcing the shutdown of the dangerous Line 5 oil pipeline. Also, learn about the important Tribal Treaty Rights at the heart of the shutdown order.

Bring a snack, your phone, sun protection, and any beach-going gear that you would like.

Additional Directions: We will meet right off of M 25 near the entrance of Port Crescent State Park. Look for the Sierra Club sign and t-shirts!

Please RSVP below, but also at the Sierra Club event page (we'll send you there after you RSVP below).

Will you come?

You can help now.

Join those working to protect the Great Lakes & climate from the Enbridge Line 5 crude oil pipeline.
