Join MackinawOde at Northwoods Nature Fest 2023 for a very special educational experience this weekend!
Environmentalists and herbalists will gather to lead presentations, raising awareness for environmental concerns through plants as well as teaching herbal classes, plant walks, and more! After all, plants need clean air, water, and soil to survive. And so do we as humans.
There will be dancers, drumming, and a water ceremony at the beginning of the event, as well as world-renowned author Matthew Wood.
RSVP here to let us know you're going, then head over to the Northwoods Nature Fest 2023 facebook event and RSVP there too. Check out the flyer below for more info!
Founded in 2019, MackinawOde is an Indigenous led Water Projector Collective that helps raise awareness about the dangers of Line 5, and other Environmental Concerns (mining, pollution etc.). Their mission is to bridge Indigenous communities to allies so we all can work towards a single purpose: protecting the Earth’s natural resources so they can be valued by generations to come.
