Attend the August 18 Forum

Enbridge wants to begin construction to extend the life of its 73-year-old Line 5 crude oil pipeline through the Great Lakes. Blasting tremors, dust, clogged roads from endless truck traffic, and more will turn the Straits of Mackinac into an industrial zone for at least six years.

Join Oil & Water Don't Mix, the Great Lakes Business Network, and the National Wildlife Federation for an in-person forum in Petoskey, where we will break down the impacts and threats posed by this potential construction project.

Come at 5:00 p.m. for a free Happy Hour with refreshments, hors d'oeuvres, and door prizes! Program begins at 5:30 p.m.

Forum Amenities

Communities are being left in the dark about the risks from Enbridge's oil tunnel project. Learn the facts surrounding the industrial-scale construction in the heart of northern Michigan and the Great Lakes for five to six years. Anyone with an interest in tourism, small businesses, and quality of life anywhere near the tip of the mitt should attend.

This public forum is free and open to the public.
