Friends of the Jordan River Watershed and WATCH (Water Air Team Charlevoix) will be hosting a public forum by Dr. Ed Timm titled “Oil Spill in the Great Lakes? How safe are the Pipelines?"Dr. Timm, a retired chemical engineer from Dow Chemical, will discuss the design and condition of Enbridge Line 5 oil pipeline which runs the entire length of Michigan.
