Join us at an informative online session to help prepare an effective comment to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). They are holding an upcoming online comment session on October 6 as they prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed Enbridge Line 5 oil tunnel.

This is not just about saying you don't want Line 5 or a tunnel - it's answering very specific questions the Army Corps needs to properly prepare the EIS. So, topics like the need for products in Line 5, the climate impacts, any environmental impact that would be caused by the tunnel construction, impact on tribal communities, etc. - all of these issues and more need to be raised. If these issues are truly addressed, there is no way a tunnel permit can be issued.

At this meeting, Sean McBrearty, coordinator of Oil & Water Don't Mix, and Legislative Policy Director for Clean Water Action will lead us through the important items you can touch on as you prepare for the October 6 meeting.
