The Three Fires Confederacy is calling on relatives throughout the Great Lakes—Native people who call these waters home in Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Ontario—as well as allies and water protectors to attend in support of protecting the water.
This is not just a demonstration.
It is a ceremony. It is a water walk. It is a bridge walk.
It is an opportunity to honor our responsibility to the water and to remind the world that Anishinaabe people are still here, still protecting our homelands, and still carrying our responsibilities to the generations who come after us.
This historic convening needs your help! Many are coming from far away and need support for travel and lodging. Can you support our Native allies with a donation today? 100% of your donation will go toward travel expenses for those in need.
