Liz Kirkwood, Executive Director of FLOW (For Love Of Water) was interviewed by WILS in Lansing after the recent pressure test performed by Enbridge on their underwater portion of their Line 5 in the Straits of Mackinac.
Spoiler alert: Despite Enbridge saying they tested the Line to its original specification, that's not the question. Enbridge is still operating the pipeline illegally.
One way to think of this: The other day I put twice the PSI into an old tire on a small boat trailer, and it didn’t pop or leak. So it’s as good as new when I head out on the road to launch my small watercraft.
