Come and demonstrate ahead of the Grand Traverse County Commissioner's vote on a resolution supporting an oil tunnel for Line 5. We'll demonstrate outside of the Governmental Center at 7:30 AM, and then enter the building at 8:00 AM to speak against the resolution. Please prepare a 3-minute public comment including the following:
1. State your name and who your County Commissioner is. You can find your Commissioner here.
2. Express your concern to keep the Great Lakes oil-free, and share a story on why you're connected to the waters.
3. Let the commissioners know that a vote to support a tunnel for Line 5 is a vote to keep oil pumping through the Great Lakes indefinitely.
If you have a "NO LINE 5 OIL TUNNEL" t-shirt, please wear it to the demonstration.
