Building a tunnel for Enbridge Line 5 through the Straits of Mackinac is not a solution to protect the Great Lakes, 400 other water bodies, including Lake Michigan, or our dangerously overheating climate.
Sign to protect the Great Lakes from *another Line 5 oil spill
Dear Gov. Whitmer:
An oil tunnel through the public bottomlands of the Straits of Mackinac won’t protect the Great Lakes from a 645-mile long, 73-year-old Line 5 crude oil pipeline that has leaked at least 33 times into Michigan's environment. Even when its oil isn't spilling into the water, it adds to our climate crisis when burned by spilling carbon into the atmosphere every day. The time to end the threat of a catastrophic oil pipeline rupture is now. Instead of leaving a vulnerable and hazardous oil pipeline operating in the Mackinac Straits for years while trusting a dishonest Enbridge to protect the Great Lakes, I support your action to revoke the Line 5 easement and urge you to prevent an oil tunnel from being constructed.

THIS IS A NO BRAINER, SAME THING GOES FOR CRYPTO AND A.I. BOTH CONSUME TOO MUCH ENERGY AND PRECIOUS RESOURCES THAT WOULD BE BETTER UTILIZED ELSEWHERE, RES IPSA LOQUITUR, LONG OVERDUE, TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!
Life is precious, end the Death Penalty. The DP is essentially the same as abortion.
Lord, have mercy on us. Strengthen us this Lent in our journey to resist the culture of death and continue to seek your vision of justice.
Executions are fundamentally incompatible with a consistent ethic of life. The Catholic Church teaches that the death penalty is unacceptable in all cases because it is “an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person” and urges people of goodwill to “work with determination for its abolition worldwide”
EFFECTIVELY BOTH ABORTION AND THE DEATH PENALTY ARE THE SAME THING AND BOTH DP AND ABORTION SHOULD BE ABOLISHED.

Ignite in our imaginations more restorative approaches to harm and violence that embody Your vision of correct relationship. For any person who is a victim of, responsible for, or witness to crime, may we be vessels of Your hope, healing, and redemption.
Embolden in us the fire to foster a culture of life. Sustain our pursuit of reconciling justice, that we may model your compassion and mercy with our lives.
